Kontemplasi bulan Januari 2011 (1)

Sibghah

Pada suatu pagi
Pada bulan Januari
Aku menemukanmu
dalam genggamanku
Akankah kulepaskan
ataukah kupertahankan?

Aku melihat air.
Aku mendengar suara gemericik.
Batu-batu kali kecil.
Air yang jernih.
Aku melihat kakiku sendiri.
Berjalan menuju ke dalam air.
Apakah dingin,
ataukah hangat?
Hanya itu yang kuingat

Aku merebahkan raga,
Mempersembahkan jiwa
Melepaskan semuanya
Biarlah Engkau yang menentukan
Gerak mana yang mesti kulakukan
Menggenggam atau melepaskan
Bahkan Jalan yang Kaubuka bagiku
Biarlah Terang-Mu yang menuntunku
Aku cuma bayang buram pada cermin-Mu

One-ness of God, One-ness of Faith, One-ness of His Words:

If only we can really see the Oneness of God

Even in the many-ness of religion and sect

The past and the future is only for human

Thus, the tribes and nations across the world too

His Words remain and not removable in the Holy Books

The only thing we shall do is to have the Wisdom

Then, The Truth we seek for, will be clear to us,

As the light of Sun that always follows us,

Even in the darkness of our lives and fogs

Along the Path towards Him.

A Reply for A Great Thought

Qur'an 2:
65 And well you knew those among you
Who broke the Sabbath, as such do,
We said to them, “Turn into apes,
Despised, rejected, no escapes.”
66 We made example to their time
And to those in each land and clime
That come here after them to fear
The lesson of Allah when near.

Though I come after age of ape let me
Take warning from the sign of evil time.
Let me not lay my nets into the sea
Upon the Sabbath day, let me not climb
From bark to shore to find what savoury fish
On Sabbath morn awaits the breakfast dish.
To fail to pause, Beloved, in rendez-vous
Set ages since for me to meet with You
Results not only that I miss Your blessing.
It dims the heart and robs the soul of power,
It shuts light from the eye and leaves one guessing,
It breaks infinity into an hour.
Let me not transgress on the Sabbath day,
But keep within the golden, sparkling way.

I am not any Muslim convert here,
Despite the fact I’ve kept the practice dear,
Denying no Islamic tenet’s gear.
I’ve kept to each belief and practice near.
And yet the Muslim denies I am true,
A Muslim by what I believe and do,
Simply because in addition to all
Of what they harp upon and keep in stall
I keep Your Sabbath day writ on the wall
Of both the Bible and Qur’anic pall.
Such is the nature of mankind and such,
Beloved, I ask that You judge with Your touch
Of mercy and of justice: I’m forsaken
Simply for what Your Sabbath would awaken.

Those are so wonderful
even much more beautiful
Please do not upset for
Even a single one in your
Ancient Order come to
...follow and sing with you
A Baptism is Jesus' indeed,
John's and Muhammad's creed
This Sabbath I went asleep
for sickly think and weep,
For you no church no mosque
but the sky and its arabesque
friends: the sea and the field
This is a temple, has been build
for you in my heart to preach
and write your great, peach
thoughts, poems and songs
As my father has been here,
so I open the door for a dear
father like you too.

A Thought for A Great Teacher

My dear teacher Thomas McElwain
Whatever names you were given
I remember the way Yunus once replied
To Rumi about Mathnavi if he had,
"I came from the eternal,clothed
myself in flesh, and took the name
Yunus," that once he was ashamed
of his own poorness and rashness
before Hunkar's love and kindness
I too was in lost and unconscious
to Musadiq I ask and very curious
About a name written but no where
to find but a short one to share
You were named like saints
yet you were blame as cue in sins
How wonderful even you got too
the name of Lion of Who
you worship and live for
The One and Only, and no more,
That it is from you I read Bible
when many puts it like bubble
They told me Its beautiful verses
But they live for ancient curses
And soon they burst It for its loud
sounds, leaving It among the cloud
From yours I found the way back Home
at least you show me how to come
Even from my old establish religion
I get away from ignorance legion
of those telling they bring the only
Truth, and I don't care if they bully
As if Heaven is their only town
And they can control Him on their own
in Islam, in Christianity, in any faith
they seem walking in straight saith
But when they mock you in polite way
I surely can't let them not to pay
for every words they may hurt you,
for thought they should not do,
I ask The One and Only one to bless
you twice and even twelve times not less
May the Light of the Only Sovereign
enlighten you and pass to us in every reign
May the 12th Prince be always with you
with three great masters guiding you
Altogether the World might see
in The End though we were so wee
after all the anger and forlorn
may we united with Him alone
great happiness not any ruth
and only with Him the only Truth
